On average, healthy Americans without the elderly and without an infectious condition may be able to get the Covid-19 vaccine in late March or early April, according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy. And infectious diseases.
Mr Fauci said it was important for everyone to be vaccinated because it was done sooner rather than later, so the United States could create a “herd of animal immunity” so the epidemic spreads at a faster rate now.
“It is very important to bring the virus level down, below the threat level. The sooner we get there, the better,” said Herd Immune.
Powerful vaccine: Fauci said he did not expect the vaccine, which is awaiting FDA approval, to be as effective.
“We have technological advances that allow us to do things for weeks to months, which usually take years,” he said.
