The iPhone 12 Pro has more serious flaws than the iPhone 12, in terms of glass damage. The company found that the iPhone 12 Pro crashed while falling on its back, while the iPhone 12 revealed no damage at all.
When dropped, the iPhone 12 Pro’s screen shattered in half. The iPhone 12 suffered only minor cracks.
No damage from any device is catastrophic and it does not affect the function of the phone.
Allstate has concluded that both devices perform “much better” than the previous model, the iPhone 11. They also performed better than other smartphones tested before.
According to a survey by AllState Protection Plans, it found that 86% of smartphone owners report using their phone as their primary camera and video device, while 80% say they no longer need a separate digital camera.
“Ceramic Shield front is a huge improvement,” said Jason Siciliano, vice president and global creative director at Allstate Plans Protection. “That said, both phones were damaged when placed on the side of the road. Due to the high repair costs, we encourage everyone to use a protective case and treat their iPhone 12 with care as you will provide an expensive camera.”
